아이들에게는 자연을 향한 흥미를 일깨우는 이야기
어렸을 때부터 도시에서 나고 자란 아이들에게 숲은 낯선 곳입니다. 마음먹고 차를 타고 나가야 갈 수 있는 곳, 주로 텔레비전이나 인터넷으로 만나게 되는 곳이지요. 그러다 보니 숲에 대해서 흥미를 갖는 친구도 많지 않고, 종종 오해를 하기도 합니다. ‘지루하고 재미없는 곳’이라고 말이에요. 늘 한자리에서 계절에 따라 느릿느릿 옷을 갈아입는 숲을 보면, 아이들이 그런 생각을 할 만도 하지요. 하지만 가까이 가면 갈수록 숲에는 볼거리, 놀거리가 많답니다.
